6 months ago there were 5 000 people on my Instagram. Had the same dream and worked towards it since 14. I recorded this track in my bedroom including the vocals and produced it on a laptop that got stuck nearly every 10 minutes. I was still cleaning offices back then and I was constantly depressed about the way my life went at that time. I worked for my parents, sometimes I played shit gigs to make some money and always put 100% of my time into what I was trying to achieve. Refused to go to university or have a regular job. Music did not allow it. When I booked a studio I always booked it during the night as I was left there to work pretty much for free. This is the way the industry is and 100000 people have it or had it the same. Take it or leave it. The selection of who will or will not make it happens at the point of breaking down.
I knew if this song didnt work I would have to go a different way. Thank God for the people who believed, to the people who came to the studio at 4AM and slept on the couch to check if I am OK, thank God for my family and for all those who were there since day 1. Believe in yourself. Fuck what people say. Do it YOUR way. Never felt more alive then yesterday and this is just the beggining. Thank you a billion times for all your love. I know the value of every single word you send my way. 6 months ago there was nothing. Right now I finally understand and value all the shit that I had to go through in the past. I would never appreciate it if the path was easy. Thank you #TeamMiki
