Re: Hedy Lamarr
414Hedy Lamarr while recording the Lux Radio Theatre production of The Bride Came C.O.D., broadcast by CBS radio on December 29th, 1941. Adapted from the Warner Bros. comedy film of the same name released earlier that year starring Bette Davis and James Cagney, the radio version featured Hedy and Bob Hope in the leading roles and can be listened to in full below. This was Lamarr and Hope's first time working together, later co-starring in the movie My Favorite Spy in 1951 (where they clashed during production). Hedy later appeared on a Bob Hope television special in 1966 at the behest of their mutual friend Lucille Ball who tried to broker a truce.
